Hey all, thought I would start a thread for me to share my progress through my queued primed models!

Looking good, the highlights on Thorin are very impressive to someone who's trying to start doing that to his figures :P

I love Bilbo's eyes and especially the Rivendell Knights, Thorin and Kili :D

Hang on while I gather my jaw from the floor.
Not only are those some of the best painted and based minis I have ever seen, the photos are of studio quality, perfectly lit and focussed. Marvellous!
Guys, for any of you going into the monthly competitions, this is a benchmark for showing your minis at their best so you give yourself the best chance in the judging.

Thanks guys, for the photos it helps one of my other hobbies is photography, so I have some gear to help there.

Yeah the eyes on Bilbo and Gloin still bug me. After a few attempts to get them right I left them as is. I was a bit too generous with the undercoat which meant I lost the detail which helps keep the paint in the lines. Since then I've learnt that sometimes its best not to do the eyes (like the Gandalf above).

This thread is wonderful! Excellent work on these miniatures, and as the others have said, the photography is studio-quality. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

:shock: Your Tauriel is amazing!!! My only criticism is with the paintjob on her face; it makes her look somewhat manly.
