So far I've painted a warband of Galadhrim Warriors, the Galadhrim Command set and an old Gandalf from the Mines of Moria.

It is and it's over the new equivalent of Tin Bitz; I can't remember the name though. Once that's dry I use a Gryphonne Sepia wash over the whole lot.

I think the definition on the horse flesh looks fine, it may feel a bit strong to you up close but the models will be typically seen from arm's-length on the gaming table and more subtle shading gets lost.

Good point. I'll do the next one with less definition and see which is better.

Welcome to One Ring DomyHill, and I must say what excellent;y painted Elves you have, interesting and effective colour choice, and very well executed, I'd love to see more, particularly if you have any villains.

:yay: :yay: :yay: Well done

I finally bought a Thranduil! He's a really nice model and fits in really nicely with my Mirkwood Army (I suppose one should expect that from the KING OF MIRKWOOD!)
I'm using my little sister's camera which doesn't really do Thrany any favours but I'm really pleased with him and my eyes have a much higher resolution than this crappy camera.

Your Thranduil is really awesome my friend! And your gaming board makes me green with envy.
