Here's a few shots of my alternate Harad/Khand troops. Again I need some banners to finish these off. The third shot are Ebob's Scotts who have been drafted into the Clansmen fief. |

Great looking group shots, could we perhaps get a couple of close ups (particularly of the Harad/Khand chaps)? |

The Scots the stand out ones for me. Great colour scheme and the paint job looks good. Do you intend these to be Wildmen ? If so then they fit the bill perfectly. I would like to see the odd close up of them. |

The Scotts are to be intermixed with GW's Clansmen of Lamedon to give some variety to the 3 poses that GW does. They come from Ebob and are a nice fit. I have some of Ebob's Heroes (William Wallace) to mix in at a later date and that will finish off my Clansmen. The Mongols are also from Ebob and I am debating on how to use them. I could mix them in with Khand or I may just use them as an unknown ( as yet) tribe out of Harad/Far Harad. I have another couple of sets of castings to paint and I will probably mix in some lighter color schemes just to break things up. I really enjoy hunting down various figures to use in addition to my GW stuff. The fiefdoms got short changed by GW. I'm trying to fix that. I just bought a bunch of BTD Vikings that are going to make wonderful Dunlendings and Rohan Militia. |

Sure thing. Ebob is a great source for plenty of different, alternate models for LOTR. And he is a wonderful guy to deal with. Top shelf all the way. http://www.ebobminiatures.com/products/components.htm BTD makes great figures at a very reasonable prices. Sign up for their newsletter which always has discounts and sales included. One word of advice, I only deal with the North American branch of BTD. Apparently the UK version is not very reliable. Horror stories abound on various miniatures websites about the UK branch. However, John in Texas is as nice a guy as there is in this hobby. I will only deal with him http://www.blacktreedesign.com/northame ... b454a91033 |

I always love it when people use miniatures from other model ranges instead of GW ones. I love doing it too. Did you ever consider giving the clansmen gondor colours? Not like they need them. |
