Hi all, I'm adding more dwarfs to my Free Peoples Durin's folk collection. Which are Erebor from hobbit range as I don't have any army's from this range. These will also be the force I'm taking to DOS.

I'm stuck on which colour scheme to use. I could do this one which I did on a founder dwarf.

Or to match what I've already painted

Or just copy whats on the box any help and feedback will be great.
Here's some conversion work I've done quite happy so far.

The´re a couple interesting colour schemes out there.

Old sourcebooks, erebor its blue, Moria Durin´s VI (hes not the 1st durin btw) so that Durin its the 6th generation since the forefather... and got killed by the Balrog.

Ironhills used to be reserved for red.

Later on movie wise Erebor went to royal blue(a dark tone than the book) while the regular infantry were black, they often found that the dwarf colour would represent heraldry just like medieval age, the rich classes wearing more fancy coloured colours.

Than a scheme I pretty much like ALOT.

Liking the colours that you did on previous dwarves and that conversion is very cool! Looks the part!

Choosing a scheme can be hard work! Especially when you really like several.

Looking forward to more updates, and more conversions I hope...? :)
