Hi, I started painting some Hero Quest miniatures, because my 6,5 years old nephew asked me to. He has my old Hero Quest game, which is not fully painted (last painting on this I did with 13). Its kinda out of scope here, but im sure many of you where brought to table top with that game. Pics: The finished ones I have to give to him tomorrow. I kinda would like to keep them (of course I will not). More to follow. This stops me from painting my Rohan army, which I do later this year. |

Are those from an expansion? You've done a good job with them especially the white robes. And yeah I too cut my teeth painting mummies and scythe wielding skeletons. |

Thanks. Yes there from the Wizards of Morcar expansion. I'm planning to do many more, "issue" I have is that it stops me from working on my Rohan project. |

In the past two years I picked up heroquest, kellars keep, witchlord, orge horde, morcar, advanced heroquest and space hulk. I also found a handy online PDF containing all the other heroquest expansions. Once I start something I can't stop. |

Nice pattern on the barbarian's cloth. The wizard's colours look good too. I've also been painting these guys too during the past few years. Only a fimir to go and then I'll have painted everything for the first scenario. -- Pasi |

I played this back when I was in high school, many, many, years ago. Great game. I also have always remembered how easy it played and set up. I planned to make level maps for my cirith ungol that are set up much like this, that way I can play the internals of the tower without having to make a complex stackable scenery, instead each level can be flat and introduced only if needed. But I digress. The models look great, they are very detailed considering how old they are. Great fun. thanks for sharing. |
