lol, it is so funny making conversions ^^ im going to take some pics now. i made 3 already 1 is complete. its supposed to be an orc shaman with a fire blade instead of the staff the second 1, i only add him a helmet the third one its half done, im changing it so i can use it as an Orc Banner bearer |

Very nice conversion, the blue piece of cloth looks good! I think once you have painted the fire sword he will really have the appearance of a shaman. |

i have him finish :s only the base is missing, but im thinking about what GothmogtheWerewolf said....maybe with a spear (staff) like the "oficial" orc shaman would look better? i will post the pic of my mini painted tomorrow then with the fire blade to see what u guys think about it i dont post it now, cuz its night here and i have poor light |

Very nice work! I'm interested in your warg molds in particular, what material did you use for the mold? Are you planning on using white plaster or something else entirely? Keep us updated! |

Post subject: | Re: Chris WIP |
for the moldes im using a material like kneadatite, based on polyacetate and plastic.. it is similiar as kneadatite, it is used to create imitation jewelry, that looks like plastic, its realy hard as a rock after 2 days, i use this material on my conversions, its soft and easy to work with and take 2 days to get hard. I threw against the wall a miniature made of this material, and nothing happened, it was a test to see the hardness XD I will use the same material to make the Wargs, and Vaseline on the molds so when i fill it up it doesnt stick the mold, and then i have to wait until its hard the real test will be trying to make the wargs come out, i hope they doesnt stick to the mold much... i think the vaseline will do the job edit: the warg im using it is made of plastic, it is realy detailed so its a good warg to use,it is the best for this test, because a metal warg has a lot of details with sharp edges and that will destroy ur mold when ur trying to pull it off, the plastic warg has soft details so its easy to work with, it wont damage your mold when your pulling it off i will post some pic's of the warg im using later i will post every step! |

@Chris about the spear. If you want to use it in SBG it wil need to be armed with a spear as it i son their profile, but other than that, go for it. Oh and a bout the wargs, is the total price of that not more than the cost of simply buying another box of wargs? |

GothmogtheWerewolf i didnt know for sure if it was needed a spear to be an "official shaman" i change it when i have some time..thank you for the info about the wargs i already said that it is cheaper make then on my own then buy them, here it is ---> "i will get a good mold to create a lot of wargs by my own cheaper then buy them loooool" but its ok, first of all lotr figures are almost extinct lol, so no its not that simple buy them easy as that, you should know that, only at ebay and some leftovers on some shops, and even in ebay i doubt you can get 30 wargs... (i want 30 wargs and 50 horses) the material i use (and it is a realy good material) cost me 1.50€ (1 bag) with 1 bag i already measure it, i can do 8 - 9 wards 6 wargs at ebay + shipping costs = 8€ 6 wargs so it is cheap make them by my own ^^ |

Sounds like a good way to get cheap wargs (and horses) then, but what're you going to do about the riders? the same? |
