I am currently working on converting a mounted Elendil miniature to go with my Gondorian army - Using Mounted Aragorn the king mini and Elendil on foot just finished sculpting the armour on the chest plate with green stuff so am nearly ready to start work painting it - I'm new to the site and haven't worked out how to post pics yet but i'll work it out for when he's finished. |

Welcome to the site Dead. Whoop Gondor, my favourite army. I look forward to seeing some of your work. To post pictures, I think you still need to post around a few times.. think 10 or so before you can show pictures. Once you have, you need to upload any pictures onto the web using a site. Could be from imageshack, etc... they are all over the place. Then you just do this; Drum |

May I ask if you have mounted Numenoreans converted (or planned) that this will be leading, or is he a one-off project? |

Mounted numenorians are on my to-do list - i haven't put much thought into them yet - been trying to get through my back log a bit first - u got any ideas for mounted numenorians? Any ideas would be much appreciated - I've done a Numenorian banner bearer on foot can post a pic if you would like. |

I lack the imagination required for a great conversion to be honest, though I reckon Rider of Rohan horse and bottom half of the rider (as KoMT have a lot more armour on their legs and I don't think the Numenoreans have as much) and then the top half of a Numenorean warrior. Then use your sculpting skills to make the top half and bottom half work together. It sounds good enough, but not knowing much about conversions or sculpting (I really am just in it for the painting side of things) I don't know if it would work all that well. Of course you could also swap weapons for a lance. Would be nice to see pictures of that Numenorean Banner Bearer |
