Ok, so back in business..its been a month since my last post but it doesnt mean that i have been idle..i just have had few problems to solve...i continued with the roofs and because those are removable, they must be strong enough to handle all that moving... I decided to create a frame from plasticard and wood, i hope it works..its pretty hard to make those "corners" to the roofs and that delays my progress...here are some pictures.. I have also worked with the details of the houses. Every time when im completely fed up with the roofs, i work with these decorations for a while..it calms my nerves.. These fotos are from the merchants house.. |

Welcome to the site! Your attention to function and your eye for style is outstanding! The magnets for flexible use is super! Your modular approach for your game board shows amazing foresight. My favorite is the tavern... gotta make some mini kegs for in there... The smithy's is awesome too. I can't wait to see more! I agree though, more internal perspective shots (with minis for perspective that is) would be very cool to see ... maybe once you're not so busy constructing them though, as you clearly have your hands full! I really am looking forward to seeing your progress.... keep going! |

I will post some close up pics and also a group shot later this week..i´m going to finish these houses before i start the harbour-gameboard project..im hoping that this happens when my summer holiday starts.. i have tried to find pics of old harbours for inspiration...something piratelike, dusty, murky and so on...i dont have a clear idea yet how im going to build the harbour but thats no problem...after those roofproblems the next big headache will be painting..how to paint those balsastrips and so on... |

DONOT go to POTC for inspiration |

Wow, that Smithy looks just like the resin one from tabletop world. Are you using theirs as a reference? If not it is an amazing coincidence! |

Ok, some progress and few new pics.. Started to glue the roofs...i use stiff card to make a base for the tiles.. And then those pics i promised. First close ups inside of the tavern. There will be a wooden floor...in the merchants house i think i will use somekind of stonetile-floor thingie..i think.. Then backside of the smith: And few pics where all the houses are together...as you can see, the houses are quite big...that means that the harbour-gameboard will also be quite big...=) I just realized that i have made some progress..yes!! |
