Well since the Community WiP starts in september I thought of already keeping track of my work until then in my own thread. I will leave the 'normal' formations until then, finishing things I've already started and painting some Epic Heroes. Anyway, this is what needs to be done for my 1500list army (list can be found http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=19222&highlight=) I've ordered me some more WoodElves, thats what the empty trays are Legendary Formation Gildor's Household. Will finish his base soon so that he too can get an undercoat. The 5 companies of Knights. I have a box of knights myself, and bought some of a friend of mine which I stripped. Made some conversion out of the bowmen. The Ent with a WoodElf on the base. The Ent is magnitized, will post better pics as soon as I will start working on him again. And here my 2 Epic Heroes for my force. They are currently in their 40mm bases, magnetized so that they can 'switch' between infantry and cavalry formations with (I hope) some good looking bases. I hope I can update this thread soon |

This is looking really good! It seems like you have alot of fun stuff to paint! And not a single finished minature? |

Well if you watch the first pic, the 2nd tray in the 2nd row had 8 finished Woodelfs in it. I also have 5 finished metal Galadhrim and 1 metal Woodelf /w bow finished. Apart from a few mini's on that pic most of them are already undercoated (I use Grey primer), and I have almost finished another 8 plastic Galadhrim (tray before the Ent). Other then that.. this still leaves me plenty unfinished mini's left to paint.. :p |

Your ent looks very good and as others have mentioned the use of magnets on the bases is a great idea. Before you go too far with those bases you may want to cover the pieces of work with sand to make them look a little more like rock. It will be interesting to see your work as you go through this project, keep it up. |

Thanks guys. @ Dwarf Lord, the base of Radagast is still WiP, I have only done the cork as of yet. Still need to do more on the basing, as you can see on the base of Celeborn. There will be more things I add to the base. I have finished greenstuffing my conversions tonight, no pics as they are mostly just filling gaps. Will post a pic of a converted WE archer when it is done. You can see it already in the formation of Gildor's Household |

The idea of placing the smaller base into the cavalry base is genius! Keep it up! |

So I'm going to work more on the 8 Galadhrim I'm doing atm. Here's a pic of where they stand right now I must say that the way I painted these is really hard for me. I'm a perfectionist, and sometimes that really is a pain in the a**. What it means for my mini's is that I really had to say to myself 'Hey, I need to paint 60+ mini's, you can't spend hours on every mini to let it look perfect.' They really don't look bad, especially when taking into account the time I spent on these as of yet, but still, I had to refrain myself from doing the highlighting on the inner cloaks as blending, rather then just highlighting them 'quickly'. If I want this army to be done on good tabletop quality, I just need to let these kinda things go. I will let the perfectionist come up on my Black Templars army (there I do spent more time on the mini's) and on the heroes. Anyway, here another WiP, the stormcaller. I will use this mini as a stand-in for Tranduil in friendly WotR games, or as the Stormcaller himself in SBG. (the metal showing on his head is where I found some more mouldlines after I slapped some paint on him, they are sometimes quite hard to find on these metal buggers). |

Thanks guys. Currently a few long days of work, and since I also love working out there wasn't really that much time for painting (plus I've seen Inception, great movie ) I'm hoping to finish some of the plastic ones this weekend, and getting the WE done on the base of the Ent. Ah, we'll see how it goes. |

No updates on the current models. Currently still very busy with my internship and on top of that we got some rather unfortunate news some weeks ago which led me not having my head to paint any models. Anyway, I'm wanting to go to the German Gamesday, and I'm thinking of bringing my Celeborn along. So I started working on him, armor is finished, watch for updates these few days |
