The hill has a very good shape. I like the way you detailed the rocks. Your ground work is very well done. Did you think about some wild flowers? Quote: i was thinking of making some sort of ruined statue, but im not sure if it would look right
Make it anyway, just don't glue it down. If it does not look right you can use it some where else. keep them coming |

This is a US link. I am sure you can find something local. This link has lots of good photos of all kinds of products. http://www.sceneryexpress.com/products.asp?dept=1038 Flowers can be made from fine colored foam flocking. http://www.sceneryexpress.com/products.asp?dept=1252 All you would need to do is add the color to the vines on the rocks. I hope this gives you some ideas. |

the head would be cool, Why don't you try to carve a face into the rock side. If it does not turn out as well as you like say an orc did it. |

Your Stone Henge has worked out very well, but I'm a bit stuck for what other idea's you could have on top of the small hill. Some nice models I saw on there too Keep it up Drum P.S. For flowers an idea could be small pins (the ones with heads) then you use the 'green stuff' to make the petals.. It's a cheaper way, but buying will probably look better. But hey, it's worth a try I would say |

ill be sure to try that with the pins although im not really good with green stuff, i just need some practice and carving the head into the side is a great idea im gonna try that in my next little hill |

thats how far i got with the statue head, i decided to make The Pillars Of The Kings, well at least the head of one of them. Step 1 Step 2 i know need to buy some green stuff and try to sculpt the face well, green stuff is the only thing i can think of for that kinda thing any ideas? anyone? |

milliput could also work.. it comes in larger packets so you get more - for cheaper at the same time Very nice so far, good outline. I look forward to seeing the rest |

But hey, it's worth a try I would say If you have more time than money you can make the foam flowers too. Take a piece of the foam packing material from a miniature package and spray paint it yellow, red, white or lavender. Then chop it into fine pieces. You can use a razor blade, meat clever, meat grinder or food processor to chop foam. A foam pillow will make a lot of flocking material. Spray it green and don't chop it as fine for trees and bushes. You can chop up sponges and furnaces filters too. Quote: buying will probably look better
No, it will just be faster. The statue head looks good so far. |

Looks good so far, nothing like having several projects going at once eh? *hint hint* Keep working on it, would be good to see more pictures soon. (maybe finished it before Black Ops comes out, otherwise it'll never be done. lol) Drum |

so thats the building i've mentioned earlier, finished it ages ago but i kept forgetting to upload the pics, i know this isn't a lotr type building but i thought putting it in my WiP seemed like a decent idea... |
