Finished of legolas but the pictures are bad. Also started on my uruk hai - only did one layer so far. It got boring after the 6th one. lol

Saruman might be happy guy not having to assemble and paint 10.000 uruks. :-)

(Anyone going to try to make the full force?)

Though, 240 isn't very close to 10k.

Done with the painting of the uruks.

varnished them , drying now. Tomorrow or another day a 2nd coat and then i can get to do bases.

tomorrow uruks are back on the menu - i did some sculpting on my qwibes project again
i had some left overs so i partly fixed this rohan guy

Going to convert him to a banner - since i got him like this and don't have the other part of the spear.
Just hoping that it will be sturdy enough. Drilled a bit in his hand but maybe not deep enough.. Didn't dare to go trough it completly wanted to keep the original part of the spear.

What a terror to go trough...

I was going to do this guy his banner b4 going to Qwibes again..

As u can c It snapped of! The green stuff was very sticky so it has been a pest to remove the fresh greenstuff again.
Then i tough to use the greenstuff for the terror of arnor.. :-X

He really is a terror...
I already had one wing attached quite neatly done. Not to much greenstuff on the borders. I tryd to attach the other wing but apparently one of the wings was resting on my kork where i keep my needles. It rolled away when trying to attach the wing making the other one break because i used to much pressure when it suddenly rolled away.
I didn't know where what was anymore.. the greenstuff filled up all holes.. It was really sticky so i couldn't remove it well.
I went Hulk green on my fingers and got a bit of his rage.

I just took the blobs of greenstuff and pressed the wings in them. Then i noticed it covered up the holes for the arms.. making me totally go mad

It's not really neat like this... But i just hope it will stick together.

If it's strong enough i will fix the ugly greenstuffed parts. I was thinking about making an Icey demon of him. So i could easily sculpt some fur on his back to cover up the mess.
If it's not good enough i ll just go to Gamesworkshop on wednesday and ask them to stick him togheter.

Really enoying to ruin such a beautiful model :-X
