So the next Master Craftsman theme will be ‘Mordor’ after all… I wonder what you’re going to do with all these trophies, Nate… your bedside cabinet can’t be that big. :?

Great work Nathan, everything seems 'to scale' and he sits nicely in the slotta bases, now just a matter of how many layers he's going to wear

Can I make a little suggestion? Please do not go too far down the monkey route when it comes to poses for your orcs - I think that aspect has been overdone by the Warhammer fraternity and some other companies who make similar 'fantasy' orcs.

The orcs of Middle-earth were a hideous corruption of elves, done long ago by Morgoth. They may be filthy, and some are indubutably primitive, but they can fight, well, if even only because their masters give them no option. Some move awkwardly, but they are sneaky, strong enough and fast enough to be a dangerous opponent. And they can forge workmanlike weapons and armour, are skilled scavengers and improvisors.

No, I am not going 'green'. I just like to see the baddies get a fair press. And besides, shambling, big-jawed dullards are unworthy opponents - if the bad guys look great, beating them feels twice as good!

It's not meant to look like a monkey. :? The Orc certainly won't have a tail.

The casting kit has arrived. I'm currently working on some swords and shields to cast in the same mould.

I think he means the crouching position. Tolkien orcs stood straighter than the Warhammer ones.
