Thanks again for the comments guys, it really does give me the motivation when it starts to become tedious work. That said I've switched projects again, only because this piece has been sitting on my worktop since the summer. Anyway here it is all painted up. Still haven't decided whether foliage and grass and alike would be a positive thing, should I just leave it?

I used a combination of brown and grey layers through 4 different stages on the trees to catch a rotting appearance in the bark and used Bleached Bone for the ground surface. The 'moss' or 'lichen' on the fallen tree trunk was going to be a speckled white however I opted to leave this in case it attracted to much attention. Ideas and C+C very welcome
