:yay: That's is an absolutely amazing sculpt, half the people on this site would kill for skills like yours and i'd hate to think what the other half would do.

Really beautiful piece. :yay:

The conversion is awesome, I know Thrandy isn't in a fighting pose, but there still is a presence with his posture, almost snobby.

Yeah I was trying to capture that scene from the first film where Thorin looks up at the cliff top and calls to Thranduil for help, only for Thranders to nonchalantly stare back then turn away.

Thanks for all the great comments guys. My own project updates are sadly too few and far between these days.

I've said it elsewhere but great job on the sculpt/paint job/basing, really gets across that look Thrandy gives when looking at the fleeing dwarves.

Brilliant work Dave, really like the sculpt and paint job. The base suits the model as well.

Looks fantastic. Would you say it would be difficult to convert the one on a horse, or would it be easiest to just replace the whole elk?

I'll be doing a YouTube video on how to convert your shire horse into an elk in the next week or two which you might find helpful.

A nice start. It does look staggering the amount of work on this thing and that's only the base !
