I'm not quite sure what you mean, did you mean the rim of the bases or something else? I'm very interested with what you have to say as I'm always looking for ways to improve my painting.

As for your comment I can claim no credit. The Lord has been very good for me as have the members of this site, they have been extremely helpful and I am very thankful to be part of this community.

They look great. 8)
I would personally make the chainmail and greaves a bit darker and/or add a some rust.
Keep us udpated.

Thank you for your advice aquan, I'll do something about it.
I've gotten back to my rangers again. I tried working with an undercoat of deneb. I prefer to work on a black undercoat but there are quite a few neat things about working on a lighter colour. Let me know what you think.

I've gotten some more work on the rangers done. I'm really not happy with their cloaks so I'll probably repaint them. I'm considering using deneb stone for the highlights, as I did on the wood elf a while back, as I found that pure white was too bright. Or I may try using shading instead of highlighting so that I can start with pure white and end with a lighter colour in the shadows. I'm really not sure about what to do so any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I've also done a little more work on the drummers. I tried to make the chain mail a little darker but then I add a light drybrush of boltgun metal as I still wanted it to look like metal so I have a feeling it is the same as it was before.

Looking really neat!

My only critism would be that i think the sand on the base of the rangers is to fine.. maybe add some more a little coarser stones? Just an idea

Else then that.... really good! 8)

Oh wait saw another one.. maybe try painting the hanldes of the dwarfs in an different color... just IMO

Looking good! I really like the faces on the dwarves. They're excellent 8) I have to say I don't really like the cloaks though. They just look to bright, and I don't think it looks that good on them. The rest is really good though. I think the drummer looks fine. You did a good job with him. Can't wait to see more! 8)
