Hey Gandlaf,
as requested, I am preparing a photo of all my uruk hai. I tidied the loft up a bit and put my gaming boards down earlier today, so, later in the week, I'll get out my Isengard army for a photo.
The ram still needs finishing and then I'll be done with uruks, thank goodness. :)

Thanks.

Dragon? Oh, yes! I'll see what I can do. Please be as patient as an ent. ;)

In which source book can I find stats for half trolls and other Haradrim allies?

As it must be at least 2 years since you last updated on the dragon then hasty we are most definitely not.

Actually, my last update on Smaug was 4.5 years ago, so you have a fair point. :)

Here's my Isengard army with all troops apart from the battering ram and ballistae.

I think enough is enough! This'll do for the uruks.

I'm currently playing a nice little game with my son, using only a tiny fraction of this force. Uruks are great! They're so tough.

If you follow the shortcut, you can see more pictures if you'd like to.

Nothing like legions of forces all massed together, great to see and I bet lad is impressed with his dad.

He does enjoy playing games with these figures.
His understanding of tactics and the rules of the game are getting better and better, so games are becoming more interesting.

Pffff what a small army....... ;p

Have you got anny idea how much points that will be in sbg? My guess would be around 11k points. But seriously thats an awesome army and I'm now looking at my own uruk force I think mine is far too small (100 uruks) and that I want more. Btw an awesome WIP it's very cool to see so many huge armies!

There are approximately 600 uruks, so at about 11 points each (not figuring out points for berserkers, banners and captains etc.) that makes about 6600 points.

I'm glad you like my WIP thread. :)

Wow! This is incredible! So many...so well painted! Very cool! And Uruks really need to be legions.

I've had some fellowship hobbits lying around in my drawer for years and finally got round to paint Frodo last night. He's nearly done - just a few highlights to go, and the base.
The eyes are tricky. I need to work on them... or not bother at all. Models with googly eyes look ridiculous!

I got the old dragon out of the loft too and have started to fiddle about with some paint. If only I could paint to the same level as I sculpt!
