Looks very effective. Just like Sam is tending to an injured Frodo.

Wow, great idea using these two hobbits for that purpose! Looks like in the movie! You have amazing ideas and the right skills to transfer the idea into the real thing! 8) I will definately follow this very closely

Thank you for your kind words, everyone... I have all the pieces I need, now, should probably get started on the scenic piece!

It'll be my first ever so here's hoping I don't make a pig's ear of it :D

The Sam and Frodo are looking good! You may have said before, but which Merry and Pippin are you going for: Captured by Grishnakh or Treebeard?

Thanks Goldman! I actually got the names mixed up, I'm using the ones from Captured by Grishnakh, I always thought they were the Treebeard figs though! Never realised there were two different sets of models :P

But yeah, I will place Merry and Pippin just in front of Frodo, each to one side, sprawled over the floor, probably with a Nazgul turning away from them to fight Aragorn :)

Stop encouraging Matt's awesome projects one-ringers, he's supposed to be at work finishing my mounted rangers  :P

Joking aside, inspiring work as always Matt!

Don't you worry Thermo, I haven't forgotten your project and I'm still working on it, honest! I've completely cleared my workspace from any other plastic distractions and hid them, so I can work to finish your rangers ASAP! :)

With Thermo's six Rangers more or less done and my seven weeks' placement starting very soon, I thought I'd try and get started on something I've been meaning to do for a while. Unfortunately, I probably won't have much time in the next few months for anything other than planning lessons and correcting homework and tests, but I think 'Project R' will be something I can spend the odd five-ten minutes on whenever I get a spare chance.

What is Project R, you ask? Well here's a teaser photo:

Happy guessing ;)

Spot on guys! Seeing as easter's coming up soon, I thought I'd have a crack at making Radagast a Rhosgobel (Easter) Bunny Sled, especially seeing as GW don't look to be releasing one anytime soon :)

Started work on the Sled today... it's VERY fiddly but it's taking shape nicely:

The thicker pieces are garden wire, the thinner bits are paper clips and the wooden beams are made from matchsticks! I've been copying pieces of concept art and stills from the films (which are both rather sparse) and adding some slight adaptions to make it 'easier' to make.

Thanks for looking in :)

Looking good so far!
Do you glue the metal pieces or solder them together?

Mainly superglue and greenstuff, Rog! I don't have any soldering tools so it's a bit fragile but stable enough for painting :)

Ok :)
Oh, and by the way big congratulations for making it onto the White Dwarf Daily page man!! I discovered it a few days ago, but due to sh*tty internet connection didn't really have a chance to congratulate you to that! Well deserved Matt!

Greenstuff, Imrail :) The question really is how I'm gonna fit them all onto one base! :P I ordered some custom-made 90mm bases thinking that should be big enough but it's still gonna be a tight squeeze!

Edit: oops, forgot to attach my progress pics:

Got the handlebars finished off and have attached the wizard himself - it's starting to take shape! Radagast is (intentionally) leaning backward and to the side to make it look like he's going round a sharp corner... Just waiting for the glue and greenstuff to dry before I add the last branches and give the wire a liquid GS coat to make them look more stickish...

Wow Matt, this is extremely cool! It really fits the radagast character very well, it looks like some kind of bizarre transportation method. You are really cood in catching exactly the right mood of the tings you want to create by tour own! Also you clearly improve very quickly, your GS skills become better and better!
