Superb! NMM is such a tricky technique to master. He looks great! So you've got another 11 waiting in the sidelines, right? :D.

That little mini appears about 150mm tall on my screens.... and there is not a blemish or flaw anywhere in that wonderful paint work. Absolutely stunning work!

That truly is brilliant Bombur, you are clearly a highly talented painter.
However I have one criticism, the pot the figure is standing on spoils it. How about a square Woden plinth for it to stand on, it will set it off perfectly.

Not a massive NMM fan myself, but that is a really well executed paint job.

That is some serious skill. I am really digging the highlights on the cloak. Love the paint job on everything except the shield. With such a very accurate representation of what was seen on film, I would have like to have seen a green shield.

Simply amazing work on that RRG! Really stunning, and I usually don't even like nmm.

Bombur the RRG is incredible. I love how you did the cloak. I think I will try and follow your steps when I paint mine. Very inspiring!

hello guys, nothing new for now, I just wanted to put the link to my page on coolminiornot, I never thought to push the votes from users 'friends' but now I find myself with many pieces in my opinion penalized , I know that the votes in coolminiornot system is not the best, but if you want to vote my pieces I'd be happy. Voted with impartiality., , I know I do not masterpieces by 9 or 10. Thank you.

I've just gone through your CMON gallery and some some voting. Hell you have some good work here and it is clear to see how you have improved to a mightily high standard.
I remain totally impressed.
I love your impression of our own DMS, somehow I think the likeness will be good with all that early hours painting he does.

I think the reason is (besides the system, but that is the same for everyone) the photo quality. You need better pictures for a good result. I agree that some minis are underrated and I am sure with better pictures you get a better result.

it is probably true, but some pieces clearly driven by excessively high ratings, excluding many masterpieces that clearly deserve the votes they have and also over 10. I'll try to take care of more photos and presentation ;).

I agree with this totally. I don't know what the deal is with CMON. Some fantastic work on there with scores much lower than they should be. Bombur your work is a prime example of this. Looking through your gallery 99% of the pics up there should be in the 9's. I don't understand it at all.
