Glad y'all like him!

Started on Gamling last night, face and armour. I'm very happy with the way the face and hair turned out, I'm definitely improving in those fields!

So far so good - that model is really difficult to paint - the banner is a nightmare :shock:

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to paint the royal banner, or know any links to good guides? If not, I'll just try and copy the Games Workshop one...

I agree, he looks great so far!

I'm too chicken to attempt this model...I know my freehand work is lousy and even when it does come out ok I am often too critical of my work. I really applaud hobbyists who tackle this model and others like it where freehand is a must. Go get to it Monotone Matt, I know you'll do great on this one! :)

I don't think you'll have any problem doing a good job Matt! Can't wait to see him finished! I think the tone on Gamling's face has come out spot on.
