Yet again, your painting is fantastic. Very nice Gollum especially. And good job on the plastic Fellowship.

Wowsers, you are amazing!
some how even your photography gets better! (a few of first pics IMO were a tad too overexposed)
but these pics are just amazing
the painting is also awsome with loads of great highlighting (especially on the cloak)

LOL! I love the horses pose; it looks like its looking at a mouse it just accidentally stepped on!

EDIT: Congratulations on getting your pics in Whats new today (they thouroghly deserved it)

Hey.. Thanks for all the kind words and votes in the Royalty challenge.. As it was my first entry, I had no plans to be leading with all the great painters here..

Just finished 24 Uruk Scouts.. First time I finished a large batch together, and don't think I will do that again.. Felt like an orc banging on rocks.. I usually work on 8 different models at once to keep things exciting.. Glad to be done with the Moria fellowship as well.. they are brutal sculpts.. Next up.. Heroes of Helms Deep.. I need some metal..

Excellent job on the RRG! Not that the others would be bad either, but I see what you mean. When painting is fun, the results are always better than when you just need to get the job done. I have the same thing with batch painting and uninspiring sculpts myself. But well done on those scouts and Legolas too!

Fantastic paint job on all - great skin tones on the uruks. Excellent Royal Guard and best of all is the job you've done with the Mines of lol "crappia" Legolas - the plastic MoM sculpts really are awful but this one looks great!!!!

Well done Chris!

I like your style of painting Chris. It has a sense of realism to it. I am however a little bemused as to why your username is Laura Palmer?

Well done, love the base!!
Yeah, nothing compares to a metal miniature. Pain to clean up sometimes, but I like the weight and sturdiness over resin or plastic.
