Really good stuff with the Haradrim, the faces look great as well as the bases.

However the rim on one of your warriors needs a bestial brown touch up.

They look nice;) I'd try to add some more depth to next batch - more visible shadows ;) Other than that really good, maybe use some wash on armor ;)

Yes.
You can look at Wiktor's article to see where you should have more shadows.

Hey Guys,

I bought this Troll Drummer a few days ago along with some Brass Tubing for making converted Standard Bearers. :)

I have finished Assembling and Green Stuffing the Troll:

Image
Image

Then i had some spare parts left over from the box set and thought i could use them to give my old Mordor Troll a Make-Over :D

Image

The Troll has been stripped but has some missing parts, like the Horns and the Side Guards on the Helmet.

Image

So what im planning to do is get the horns off the Plastic Troll and glue them on the Metal Troll and also the Side Guards.

I thought i could take the conversion a little ferther in order to change the weapons, so i changed the Shield a bit so that it doesn't look like an Isengard Shield much:

Image

That Shield will be glued to the Mordor Troll's left arm. :)

Then the Club will be glued to the Troll's right arm :)

I will have some updates on the Banner Bearer Conversions and the Mordor Trolls soon 8)

Yeah the Plastic Kits don't look that great when they are in the box, but they are eally usefull if you have another Troll. 8)

You still need to get some of the mould lines on your Troll Drummer sorted.

Yesterday i recieved Khamul the Easterling Ft and Mtd and a Hasharin from a trade between me and Commodore :-D

Image
Image

I chose to get Khamul because of the Mordor army and the Hasharin for the same reason, but i also want to paint it with the Desert Scheme that Haldir came up with, then enter it into Golden Deamon this year (ill say i got the scheme off a forum if anyone asks about the model) I hope you don't mind Wiktor, tell me if you don't want me to enter 8)

Anyway i have just started to paint it:

Image
Image
Image

I have painted a pattern on the hood:

Image

Any critisism is welcome, i want to improve as best i can. :)

As i said in my previous post i was working on a Converted Banner Bearers, so heres what it looks like unpainted:

Image
Image
I converted it from an Orc Bowmen

Image

I have cut off the Quiver:

Image

Repositioned the Arm and replaced the hand with a Sword:

Image

And cut a hole through the centre of the fist:

Image
Image
The model still needs to be painted :-X

I have also been painting a bit of the Troll Drummer:

Image
Image

I have changed my mind about mixing up the weapons on the Metal Troll and Decided to keep the original look and just add some Side Guards and Horns:

Image

For the Mordor Army i bought a few years ago a Catapult but it wasn't painted or assembled very well, luckily i still have all the pieces to repair it:
