Great looking pack there Chris! I really like the Chief conversion. Can't wait to see the force expand - will you be throwing in Warg Riders/Orc Hunters/Fell Wargs too?

Cheers Knighty, at the moment I'm thinking of getting another 2 boxes of Wild Wargs and the Metal Wild Warg Chieftain for my Moria army, and then when the Fell Wargs are released, getting a Fell Warg Riders/Orc Hunters/Fell Warg army.
I already have some old style Warg Riders which I'll probably throw into my Moria army, possibly converting them so they have Goblin Riders instead of Orc Riders

You seem to be really good at effective colour and shading

 Thanks Gothmog :) the converted chieftain was quite easy, just waiting for the layers to dry was difficult :P I don't plan on letting them get killed, the chieftain has already feasted on Grishnakh :yum:

My army of Moria, as it currently stands. 52 Goblins (including the Prowlers), 12 Wild Wargs, Durburz, Groblog, the Dragon, the Spider Queen, a Cave Troll and a Wild Warg Chieftain. In total this comes to 1115 Points.

You can see the full-sized images on the blog (and some other images):
http://chrisgomhobbyblog.blogspot.co.uk ... -1115.html

So what's next? Well for my Moria army, I still need to paint up a Cave Troll, 2 Shamans, a Captain, and around 30 more Moria Goblins. I've also got Escape from Goblin Town, so will be working on that as I finish my Moria army, and I'm also starting work on my next army, so stay tuned for updates.

Nice group shot GoM, they look good altogether, all those Goblinses and Wargses and that Dragon. I do like the fact you have kept to a dark colour scheme throughout. It suits them.

:yay: :yay:

Thanks Gothmog :) Can't wait to get the rest done and get another army shot, although I have no idea where I'll put them all to take it

Quite a superb looking horde you've gathered. I like the varying yet uniform shades and tones of the group, each contingent compliments the other very well. I'd love to see them all on some sort of cave terrain. The dark cloth and armour with the brighter skin makes for a very effective, stunning, and quite unnerving combination. Keep up the good work Chris, with 40 more of the horrid little things it'll be even more impressive!

Thank you Knighty :D When I've finished all of the Moria stuff I have at the moment the army will come to around 2000 points (not counting EFGT) :) I plan on making some cave terrain, just got some WIP lakes a the moment, and the contents of EFGT, but cave terrain is high on my priority list 8)

Odd question- why do so many people use red blood for trolls and orcs? Their blood is black and that's from the books. Great paint jobs overall. Can't wait to see how you paint the EfGt

Thanks RoTN :) I went for red blood on the troll because it helped break up the colder colours of the rest of the model :) perhaps the troll has human/elf/dwarf blood smeared onto his scars?
