Thanks!

@Fieres I use Pro-create, super sculpey and Milliput as my sculpting materials

@Sticky Fingerss I will take some photos in the next little while to show how he stands next to other well known models.

Here is my scratch built Bolg miniature. Quite happy with it. Now I have about 4 hours to paint it for a painting comp on Sunday.

Good lord, that is a mightly fine looking sculpt. I just hope the official model ends up as good as yours but it will take some beating :yay:

He looks awesome. Very well sculpted.

I didn't know Bolg had lips, I thought they were ripped or bitten off (perhaps from the same accident/purpose that caused his head plates). I assumed Bolg was the one that tortured Beorn and his people and that Beorn while escaping shredded him and crushed his scull in his jaws, and that Beorn will finish what he started in the next film. (also explains the bear claw armor).

Astounding! Really excellent sculpting! Well done on creating such an uncanny likeness to that of the film! :)

Thanks guys!

@ Natern, he is perhaps a little bit too big when compared directly with the other models (haven't measured yet) however this works from a gaming point of view as the size of some minis can get lost on the table top whereas bolg looks his perfect height when viewed in the midst of a tabletop battle.

@ Sitheous, he does have lips. Very orcy ones at that. It's just as well because he wouldn't be able to speak without them. I like your back story theory though.

This is really awesome! I love the pose especially, it's not "action oriented" but that's cool. A lot of models try too hard to be "doing something" where yours is very natural but also intimidating.
