Havent painted for a while but here is Galadriel. This has to been one of the most beautiful sculpts I have ever painted. There are a couple hard to reach spots but in the end the sculpt lends itself to the paintbrush like few others. This is my first attempt at a major blending of colors from very different parts of the spectrum. I also returned to the world of NMM for the breast plate, and OSL for the base. I thoroughly enjoyed painting this model. I will also enter this mini into the painting challenge!

Gorgeous piece man! I love the way the colors progress from north to south.

I like the piece, my only critique (and perhaps the only one possible with this piece lol) is the transition of colors looks smoother on her left than her right. Idk if that's intentional as part of the OSL but it stuck out to me.

That being said it's another beautiful piece, I hope to match your level of skill someday lol

Wonderful work! I hope we see her something like this when she (err, I'll shut up now in case of a spoiler...) :)
But you know what I mean.

Thanks everybody for the kind words. Here is another piece I just finished. This is my first large-scale attempt at NMM and I am rather pleased with the outcome. There isn't a drop of metallic paint on this mini! Although it took forever to paint it was tons of fun and I don't know that I will ever go back to painting them with metallics. I also added a few free hands to the shield and the sword scabbard.

The NMM is outstanding! 8) I doubt I would have regognized it if you hadn't said anything... The freehands and the rest of the mini are great as well but unfortunately the pictures are a liitle small. Could you upload them single? For example the wooden structure and the face are hard to see...

Thanks everyone!
@SoF I'll get some single shots of it posted.

@Harfoot, not sure, had a real busy week at work working pretty much 24/7 so I had to pick away at it here and there. Maybe 10-15 hours of actual painting time. I would paint each piece of armor individually. took forever

Looks awesome. Very well painted.

I would say I want to try NMM, but I know I don't. :) looks like a pain in the butt.
