Well to be honest i had quite some time left in the evenings when i had exams. But now i have none, only papers and my animation project. But those are quite time consuming.

Yeah homework and projects do tend to take longer i find too. There's just more involved. Your animation project sounds interesting. I can maybe work on the mould later today, still needs a little drying.

Well as I promised I said I would slowly start on my Gondor army. I haven't touched a brush in almost 4 months (apart from 2 models I painted) so I'm a bit rusty. I did them rather quick, because they are just the standard warriors and the bulk of the army so there are plenty to paint. I haven't quite finished them yet, but tell me what you think anyway.

They look very well done, have you done a wash on the armour?
The blue cloth is very nice as well. My only quibble is that the silver isn't very smooth but as you said you are a bit rusty.
For a first in 4 months these are excellent. Well done.

Looks good but you should paint the leather band on the armour around the middle. But very good for some speed painting.

Hey, thanks for the comments. Yes the armour has had a wash of black. Whats wrong with the armour? was a bit confuzled. I agree I really should paint the leather, but I just couldn't be bothered at the time. I can come back to it. I've been busy yet again today painting. Here's my progress. These are still pretty rushed, I'm trying to get an army done in time for a battle. I'll take my time on the heroe's though!

Army so far...

I've got some new models coming soon which I ordered on the net. I got Minas Tirith Commanders, Halbarad, Blackroot vale archer command and some Citadeal guards.

Great work again Drum. What I meant about the armour was that some black is showing through im places but that can be solved by shaking the paint pot a bit more thoroughly.
I really like the blue and black scheme, it works really well. Could we have a close up of aragorn please?
Sounds like a lot you have got coming - im looking forward to it all. Do you get your models for GW or a different stockists because im looking for where to get cheaper models apart from Ebay.
Who will you be playing against in your battles? and have you thought about battle companies because then you wouldn't have to paint as quickly?
Anyway keep it coming.

Ah right, I'll give it a bit of a shake - Didn't really before. Yeah I think the blue scheme worked out well. I only got these models off the GW website because I couldn't mind them aroun on ebay. I don't really know any other sites, there are a few around - but I'm not sure if they have everything. I'm playing against a few mates, a 2v2. 2 Gondor v Isengard & Far east. Actually an idea might be for me to make a battle report if you want to see it. Here's the Aragon you asked for.

The red cloak is amazing, the highlights are really well executed. I'm glad to hear that you will make a battle report (i might make one as well when I next play Lotr). Keep up the good work and well done on aragorn.

ehe thanks for the comment on Aragon. I'll give a battle report a go, will need some scenery. Perfect excuse for me to make some more! Don't worry, I'll make sure I'll cram plenty of pictures in. :) Yes it's true you seem to be the only people who comment, where has everyone else gone? On the other hand, thank you for taking an interest! 8)

Here is some of my latest work, got a few more Guards of the Fountain Court (they are a pain to paint and annoying!) I've also painted Denathor, the grumpy old man that he is. Also chucked in Bormir in, he was painted a while back - but had the same blue so it worked well.

They seem fun to paint (i have painted none of those b4 :p funny feathery hats.) i wish i had some time to pain, sculpt and make terrain.. I love to watch ur guys work. Most of u are quite good. And it's a big motivation to me.
I think most people don't come on the site to much since he went down... some don't like the lay out of this new one..
I wonder if there are still mods around. I think it's a while since i saw one of those.. Maybe i missed them out.
don't forget to rotate ur pictures tough :p ;)

Great work on the GotFC, the white looks really smooth. The only thing about boromir is that you have missed a bit of armour between his shield and horn strap. But apart from that they are amazing and very well done.
Have you blackroot archers arrived yet because i would like to see you take on them. Keep up the good work.

@polarbird2 ehe thanks for the compliment, good to see your still with us

@hero of gondor Thanks again, I've had such a long break from painting I'm just loving it again. Ouch 18 sounds like a bummer to me, must of been for WOTR I take?

@gamerhord ehe yes, i love the feathers on the helmet - the model itself is just akward to paint. It's always nice to see other people's work. Have you got round to painting your Isengard Troll? I agree and it's such a shame that things are going downhill at the moment. I also prefered the old style layout, rather than the one he is working on now. It has been a while since I've seen a Mod (Ringwraith I should say) thought I speak to some quite a bit on the One-Ring chat. Pictures the wrong way round, my bad!

@Cyndra the Grey Cheers, yep never realised that i missed a spot on Bormir.. been at least 2 months since I did him. Will patch him up. My models haven't arrived yet, hopefully tomorrow - but we already have foot deep snow up here in Scotland. So things have already come to a halt in some ways.. :x

My next update will be about painting my new models, and soon to follow that ruin - the mould has almost fully dried. I will also be selling that ruin (on ebay) Hope to see some of your progress on painting (to my regulars, you know who you are :D )

Nope i haven't started it yet. I wish i could but i am flooded by school work. I gotta redo the storyboard and cetra. They want to add a bit more cream to it to make it better. But that makes that i gotta redo alot. So currently no paint time yet. I do had toughts on the colour scheme a bit. But i still got a half finished warrior to do first. And i might finish the 5 remaining uruk scouts b4 i start on the troll. + for a while there might be no pictures because i think the batteries are kinda bad - they run out of energy very fast even after reloading.
