Haha, cheers man! Mirkwood camo is where it's at!

I'll try to get some decent photos of the board today, I haven't been home for the past 2 weeks... Summer Holidays = Partai tyeeem. Going out tonight and entertaining a lady friend today (but she's in the shower now so I'll snap some cheeky pics - of the board that is.)

Thanks so much for being so complimentary, when you live in the middle of nowhere it's hard to get and feedback and you guys have really made me want to do more painting! :D Ta!

Wow, excellent stuff! I must say that I still prefer the metal Haldir's Elves, but you've made the plastics look outstanding! Often I've seen them look flat and boring, not so here. :)

Nice board. The ent was kinda camoflaged into the scenery. Good job.

I was thinking about getting some of this: http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/woodland-scenics-c1212-water-effects-8-oz.html to give the impression of movement to the river, particularly the fords just to add some realism to the eerily still water. However, that stuff's expensive and I have already bought the realistic water. Does anyone know any cheaper alternatives or know how I can achieve the same/similar effect with stuff I already have?

The models are just amazing, and the gaming board too, but what really made me go "ME WANTS THAT TOO!" was the water effect. I've never seen anything so lifelike.

Thanks mate. It took me a long time to get the colour and translucency I wanted and a lot of failed attempts. I'm considering getting some other water effects product to add some movement to the fords.

In the last picture, that's an eye patch over the left eye... a poor sculpt/an orc sword ruined his eye :/
