Well done, they look very well made. Its inspired me to have a go at some but they will never be as good as yours. Keep up the good work.

Ok, not a big update but something..i continued with the roofs..

I used support beams to make the roof as strong as possible but light..

Here are few shots...now those look like houses...

They look great. However I would say that part of the roof of the firs house extends too far downwards and the chimney should be extended. Otherwise they are great. I'm looking forwards to seeing them all done along with the harbour.

Wicked good. This is a very inspiring thread. I just may have to make an attempt at house building myself at some point. :yay:

I disagree with the first part. The extended roof is to cover the blacksmith as he works outside with his forge. Gotta make a living even if it's raining! I'm sure the chimney will be extended. It will just be easier to attach it now the roof is on.

Yep, Ukfreddybear is right...there will be support poles for the long roof and the extented chimney will be attached to the roof..it easier to remove the roof this way when you want to move your minis inside..

I also decide to change the name off the topic because there is other projects also witch slow the progress off the houses down..its only fair that you see that im not just slacking off.. :) Here are few pics from my other projects..some are almost ready, some are badly WIP...

Forestlake and some trees...

Great work on the buildings! I also really like the converted Troll and Warg Rider banner-bearer. Nice work all around. 8)

Simply amazing work on the buildings. They're extremely well built and realist: good job!
The Dol Amroth are also stunning. You're as good at painting as your are as miniature building ;)

Darac: In a nutshell the rocks of the lake are made from treebark glued in top of each other. Stones arouns the lake are sculpted from milliput, water of the lake and the stream is Woodland scenics water effect. Oh and the trees are straight from Noch..i like those trees, cheap and looks ok to me...

Base of the lake is hardboard and its shaped like a hexagon because in this way its easy to compine multiple forestpieces...

If you want to know more, just ask...

Ok, my buildings aren´t going nowhere..why? I had a terrible urge to repaint my dol amroth figs for some reason :) So here are few pics, i made a lot of changes to the paintscheme if you compare these new ones to those old ones, but changes are not so obvious...

Image

Micro arts makes very nice convertion heads and i have used one head here..
Image

The head is little bit bigger than normal, "heroic scale", but it doesnt bother me...i think that i will use those heads also in the future..
