No idea's for colours yet, still needs lots of work b4 i get there.
I need to find out how to do the gate doors, stairs and rocks.
I have some plaster tapes.. maybe just cover up the polystreen with it? Or should there be a gaze underneath?
I am not really patient for making stairs... should find an easy nice looking way.
Doors, maybe i should try to find some small hinches?
Seen lots of beautifull helms deep and minas tirth buildings on the one ring. I want to make a classy fortress to this time. Maybe get rid of the old one afterwards..

still gotta get the form of the polystrene blocks out a bit here and there...
But we have a pot of plaster powder to somewhere. I might continue with that. Might be enough to finish it up.

It's looking great so far.
Look at dolls house accessories for some window hinges that could work nicely for your doors.

good tip :) , just don't know yet where to find those in store around here. Might do paint work on the castle first. Still gotta base the whole thing with sand, waiting for some good weather to do it outside. Don't want my room turned into a local beach :)

This is going to be epic when it's done. It's certainly inspired me to get cracking with some terrain.

Ok been a while again, i glued some sand on the fortress quite some days ago.
Still waiting till i find my time to get to the store for a black spray can..
It could take a while..
I felt to do something hobby related so i started up something for in the meanwhile.
Most of the time making the armature is what i hate most. Once that's done things might go rather quickly.
It's hard to stop sculpting, wanting to c what comes out of it.
What i have planed is a demon.
I have some smaller bases to, maybe i even will try some human sized demons to go with it! But i will start with the big guy first. :)

Now i need to find out how to do the gate. Add details maybe barels, something to make it easyr to get on the wall...
Maybe make the grass a bit more natural.. it's really flashy green right now. Maybe i could dirty it up with some inks.... detailing..;
