Yeah, I thought it was only Slaanesh that was into the gender bending...

Still, unkown gender aside, that's them all cleaned up and in the process of having the sand glued to the bases. Also managed to get the second sprue of Wood Elves done.

That just leaves Gandalf, Saruman, Erestor, Glorfindel, Galadriel and Ciridan.
Who needs an early night anyway...

Nope, she realised that it was a lost cause as I had 'little metal men' to occupy my time...

i use that sort of excuse alot - although it is usually with coursework - conversations run as followed (of course, in perfect english, not this scottish rubbish :p)

Whew, 24 Wood Elves, 3 Sentinels, The White Council, a Banner Bearer, Elrond and Gandalf cleaned up, assembled and sanded.

*prays for a dry day tomorrow*

Yeah, I cannot wait to see the treatment that the White Council (and the rest of these models as well) gets...should come out wonderfully!

Yay! Big developments today despite the rain.

Mrs. G has finally relented, and after much persuasion and promises of the fulfilment of household chores, not to mention the promise of a replacement, the kitchen table has now been relocated to the games room!

And here is some offcut from the bathroom floor (guess why I chose that pattern) that will eventually become the floor of Balin's Tomb.

Now we really are getting somewhere.

Ha! An entire table! That's certainly a result!

Good idea for that cut out to make the Chamber of Marzabul floor - I have never seen such a material used (ie most people use regular sand/cardboard etc). That will undoubtedly look good at the end.

Well, I've started working on Thranduil, 3 Sentinels and 12 of the Wood Elves.

No pics, because, well, I gotta go to work, and they are just brown atm...

Gonna carry on with these guys this week, and maybe batter out the Warg Riders soon, so I can get that Evil group shot.

Quick update, before I (hopefully) have another weekend of frenzied painting.

Nasty tricksy Elveses required for Scenario 1.

Yeah, I knew I said I was going to put some care and attention into them. I lied.

Planning on all the WE having green cloaks, with a variety of greens, greys and browns for the rest, and when I get round to the High Elves, Blue cloaks, and white robes.

Here's the rest of the assembled stuff, just getting the bases out the way first.

And here's how Galadriel is progressing.

Yes, I know, I don't need her for a while, but I figured she would be quick 'n' easy. Then it got complicated...
