Yep! Definetelly a nice job so far!
One advice though, you really should get those bows and spears straight before you paint them or you can have some problems after.

Keep it up! ;)

All of your miniatures look amazing, I was just wondering though? what do you use for the large rocks on your mounted models for basing? I have tried time and time again with stones from the garden but they don't have that desired effect

Thanks all,

@MacGothmog- yeah I know, they will be straigthen before painting

@ReaKon : The big ones are made of styrodur (it's polish name, and as far as I know german as well), it may be similar to styrofoam? Also some cors is used.

Well,I paint my spears, bows ect with either mixture of Scorched Brown 75:25 Bestial brown.I think that looks quite nice, also i have done just scorched brown for some of my evil guys and i have done just bestial brown to give a bit of variety to my armies. They all look okay in my opinion.

Hope this helps

Loving the Minas Tirith mate! Seems like there has been a huge shift of focus towards it ever since the new supplements come ever nearer. How long did that take you to make? Are the minis that are going into the diorama an actual army list? or will it be a snapshot of actual combat between the forces of Mordor and Minis Tirith?

Can't wait to the next update!

Well the original idea was in my head since October '06 when I was told that there will be Golden Deamon on September 07 ;)
I started preparations on February, but than the exams time came and I was busy until mid may. So that's the actuall time I started work, first painting KoMT (they haven't all been finished so far), work on diorama itself begun around 2.07.07 ;)

Actually it will be a scene of FAramir and KoMT depareting from MT to their noble and suicidal charge at Osgiliath ;) SO mainly KoMT mounted standard, Faramir, Gandalf, Pippin, some MT and maybe civilians on sides ;)

Main competitions is Golden Deamon in Warsaw, but then again info about O-R Comp was given and I'm thinking of taking part in it, a good way to keep up to last year's entry ;)

I asked my friend to make some, he's pretty good at converting stuff, and i'm, short on time, but lately he let me know that he's not sure if he's gonna make it on time so presence of civilians is a big question

Some new pics just before finishing touches on the building (roof and wood wlements)
