Hi, here's some of the stuff I've been working on. I apologise for the bad pictures, but I couldn't use my good camera.
Image
This is my (small) Gondor group/battalion. I've got some more that I painted a few years back, but I don't think they're worthy of posting.
Here's a close-up:
Image
And an old picture of the command:
Image

I'm planning on building an Osgiliath terrain board. These are two of my latest buildings (made of foamboard):

And two evil models:

Any comments and constructive criticism appreciated.
Thanks for looking!

Nice job on all of these models. I especially like what you've done on the fellbeasts wings.

Your converted Gondorian captain looks like tough guy. How long did it take you to make the Osgiliath ruin? I may consider making some Arnor ruins if its not too time-consuming. :gimli:

I'm afraid I'm not exactly sure. I think a few hours building the ruins, and some time (not much) painting them. I'm sorry I can't be more precise.

This weekend I painted a few rangers (based on the grey company):
Image
I was wondering, are there any official profiles for the grey company? Because I've never seen their profiles before...

Groblog, king of the deeps:
Image

I made this river quite a long time ago, but I thought I'd show it:
Image

This figure was lying around in my bits box (it's from the fell beast):
Image
So I ordered a horse for it:
Image
I'll post pictures when I have received the horse and painted it.

Comments & criticism are welcome!

Another update.

Inspired by the Goblin Town board in the latest white dwarf, I made my own version of Goblin Town (No goblins on the board, since I hadn't received them when I took the photos and it's quite suitable for Isengard too):

And a few figures,
Túrin:

Today I started on the goblin town box, so here's Balin and Dwalin:

I really like the fell beast wings, helmetless captain and groblog's cloak, - and everything else really.

Fantastic job on the scenery. It seems like nearly everyone is getting inspired recently, anyway, well done. :yay:

Alo what model is Turin, is he scratch-built?

Thanks! No, Túrin is a very cheap figure I bought from Magister Militum. I thought it was pretty good for Túrin, and since it was only a pound, I added it to my order.

All right, two more dwarves.

Thorin (I painted his hair grey because I think Thorin should actually look much older)

Hm, the picture isn't that good though. His metal armour looks too dark, in real life it's much brighter.

I think the highlights on Thorin's hair are a bit too bold, and the shading in the blue too heavy, but the face and metal are brilliant.
