Well then, hello everyone !

After a long time away from painting Lotr miniatures mainly doing other projects and catching up on my gaming. I did manage to finish a few projects for lotr but never got chance to photograph them along the way !

I will post updates on those projects later.

For now here is some thread revival goodness with Saruman the White, i have always wanted to own and paint this model and with Christohper Lee's unfortunate departure I knew this was the time to get one and paint it.

So I have almost finished up with his robes, they may need a little clean up but over all I am rather pleased !

Good start to Saruman. Nice warm looking 'white'.

So I have been a busy little bee since my last post, Saruman is now done and based as seen here !




I'm quite happy with how he has turned out !

Next I have done some work on Aragorn as well as Legolas, they are still WIP and i plan to finish them today



In my next update you shall see Aragorn and Legolas finished and i shall also get some pictures up of the finished Orcs and Troll.

Very cool conversion, especially with the helmets. They seem to be elite Numenoreans rather than just the standard ones.

Hello again

Today we have a few bits and bobs to show, firstly as promised the Troll and Orcs all finished and on display in my cabinet !

All together I think they look great and I'm looking forward to starting the remaining 9 Spectres.

Also we have Legolas and Aragorn all finished up and I'm rather happy with how they have turned out

Next in Line is Boromir and here we have a WIP shot of him, I found his Leather coat thing quite tricky to paint and get the colours right. I think I've managed to get it spot on, even if it took a while !


So that's all for now folks, Next update we shall see Boromir finished and Gimli started too.
I recently managed to get hold of some Numenor archers for a reasonable price considering how much they can go for on ebay, so there could quite possibly be a Numenor themed update soon
