nice start, legs are maybe a touch too thick. the lower back muscles need shaping in more.
good angry expression.

Thanks for the critique Gandlaf. He's coming along now and starting to take better shape. Good point about the legs they do look quite chunky from the front so I'll tweak ths a bit. One thing I am struggling with is the weaponry. I'm going for a shield in one arm and axe in the other. I tried just sculpting them straight up but the edges weren't flat enough so I'm going to give it another go with milliput, perhaps sanding it to shape. Do you have any advice on this?

Sculpting is not my thing I'm afraid. Ukfreddybear (dave) is the usual go to on all things sculpting.

I'm terrible at sculpting as well, but I remember Dave saying that sometimes he mixes greenstuff and milliput, which gives you the benefits of both types of putty.

Hi everyone sorry it's been ages since I've posted here. Finally got this guy finished and in production and he's casting really well. Here's a few pics of how he turned out, hope you like him.

Just finished a quick paint job on this guy, hope you like :) Still a bit new to the painting side but I'm quite chuffed with how this guy turned out, definitely my best paint job to date.
