Big thanks you two for taking the time to reply and I'm delighted you like it, it makes the ton of effort I made worthwhile. Feanor - yes the dead where a challenge with the issue the large humped backs wouldn't sit very well despite some limb contortioning. Maybe should have had one face down.

Magnificent, I don't even want to know how many hours will have gone into that project. Even GW, when producing large display pieces, allegedly only paint the foremost figures to a high standard, but you've trumped that by painting even the lowliest of goblins (and it doesn't get more lowly than that!) to a level befitting heroes. What may stand out even more than that is the posure of the figures, all the goblins fighting and standing are in the perfect positions - a lively and realistic piece.
Seeing this, however, does probably mean the Goblin Town figures are never going to grow on me - didn't like them originally, and even this paintjob doesn't make them look any more appealing.

Many thanks. I can't say they are my favourite figures but they did allow me to test out my Scale 75 paints to give them a completely unique colour scheme. Yorkshire, it is one thing I do with all my Diorama's, you never see everything with the first look. You have to look several times and even then you may not catch everything. This piece didn't quiet give me the chance for that due to the amount of figures I had to paint - 55 in total ! And yes, I did paint them all to a pretty good standard, not the best but like I've said about the number of figures, something had to give.
