Great stuff all round. Especially like the way you handled the material on Thorins tunic and Gandalfs robe.

Really good :) I like your goblins and think you've handled thorin and gandalf well too. Personally, think its brave to attempt eyes as us can make the models look cartoony, but that's subjective!

Your Thorin is outstanding, I really like your work on his face, eyes and boots in particular. Your Gandalf is also very good the grey robes are amazing, perhaps a bit more blending is needed on the blue part of the robe though as it goes from black to blue instantly just sort of stands out a bit.

I'm definitely in agreement with using a variety of skin tones for the Goblins, I'm also doing the same thing with my bunch. I like the idea of having a darker tone and then a pinky fleshy one. Also liking the skin tone of your Goblin King.

Cheers Guys

Im happy with thorin too (And im never happy with my painting) Your compliments mean alot, so I'll let you into a little secret with the boots. its just repeated washes with agrax earthshade or whatever its called lol. the gobbos deffo need more than one skin tone to stop them looking like costumes. I notice that on Gandalf Last night it definatly needs rectifying.

thermo
thank you for the compliments mate, Im always worried about eyes on my models for exactly that reason. how badly has it gone be honest as that is how we learn.

I'll be getting some pics of the goblins that literally just need one last highlight on their loin-cloths and they shall be done.

thanks for all the views and keep the feed back coming

Cheers Matt.
