im planning out a themed/effective osgiliath/minas morgul army and am considdering spectres, however for the same points you can get morgul stalkers, having never used either of them could i have some advice on who is better at what please |

i'm not very familiar with them either but I do know that their were no spectres in osgiliath if your looking for theme |

Spectres are useful as a sort of "third line" if you keep 5 or 6 of them behind your spearmen then you can make sure that your winning a few more fights every round. This only works if your opponent is using relatively low courage models. Alot of people say that you shoudlnt use loads of spectres but tbh if you have a solid front line then having even as much as 10 spectres is more than worth it. I wouldn't see why you couldn't use spectres and stalkers. |

I prefer Stalkers, as Spectres are too reliant on your opponent's models having low Courage. On the other hand, half a dozen Stalkers can cause a serious problem for your opponent to deal with. |
