Hello all, I was just reading this thread: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=20660&p=234697&hilit=+black+guard+#p234697 In the third post down, the user implies that Black Guard can't benefit from the Orc Drummer's special rule. Was there a ruling or FAQ that stated this? It would seem to me that as they are Uruk-hai and they are from Mordor that they should count as Mordor Uruk-hai. Thanks in advance for your thoughts! Orc drummers only affect orcs regardless of what army list they are from like shamans. Black guard have their own drummer which only affects uruk-hai (even Isengard ones). It's all about the race, not the army. It may seem illogical and it probably is but that's how the rules work. |

"Black Guard" model is not a "Mordor Uruk-Hai" model. The Orc Drum affects specifically Orcs of all types (including Warg Riders) and "Mordor Uruk-Hai". It's not about being of the Uruk-race, it's about the actual name of the model when referring to Mordor Uruks. |
