i decided to make a hobbit un-named hero to lead my army that would use somthing like magic. And i thought, whats like magic that hobbits would have access to. Alcohol!! Hobbit Brew- maker F S D A W C M / W / FT 3/3+ 3 5 2 2 4 1 / 1 / 2 War gear Ladle (hand weapon) and large pot (shield). Special Rules Any hobbit including the brew-maker within 12” may use one of these rules each turn. You may change which brew you use each turn. Fiery Dragon Beer The models affected are no longer affected by the terror rule. Quick Shot Whiskey Gives the models affected +2” to their move phase. Roaring Troll Spirits Any models affected in the fight phase may re-roll 1 dice per combat. so i put this to my club and they thought the rules where pretty decent but we couldnt decide how many points he should be. he is basically using magic, and has decent stats (for a hobbit) so we were thinking 50-70 points. what do you think and how many points do you think he should be? |

He is only a Hobbit and I don't think he should get such a high defense. |

he has a shield though and hobbit heros are usually slightly better and have d4. so d4 with the shield is d5! |

I have to say, I like your idea. I'd personally reduce his attacks and wounds to 1 each, though. I could be wrong, but if my memory serves me correctly, there aren't many hobbits with 2 attacks and wounds. |

I think he should be about 70 - 80pts. Quote: you can still deflect arrows etc. with ingrediants inside the pot though surely!!?? IMO I don't think so or at least not without spilling ... |

It's hard to give an accurate points cost to a model with such unusual rules. At a guess, I'd say around 100pts; I got that cost from trying to compare it to a Goblin Drum. |

ummm the goblin drum was one of the most over priced things in the game.... (its bonuses were good, but you could just kill the drummers w/ volley...) |
