Oh that's lovley... However there's one thing more Tactic ofc. Like With aragorn's freee might You can call plenty of these Heroic Fights/moves. and thus he is one of the best tactical/fighting leading herose of the LotR SBG |

For me Tactics includes all others... Even if it's not what's meant, I still like to win a game because I outsmarted my opponent in a fair battle. I think even if I lose I would be happy if he outsmarted me too, because I'll learn from my mistakes and my next game will be a better game. |

I prefer like a force of about 6 people - Elves, Wizards, etc, or Saurons/Ringwraiths/Dragons/Balrogs |

NO ofc. I like to win by any means BUT especially I like to win with Magic... Like Transfixing herose and the enjoyong the mass slaughter... or braking the opoonents army and then seeing the effect of Drain courage and harbinger of evil And one of my favourite games was where I had Gandalf the White on ShadowFax and my opponent had Sarumn the White on horse... now we agreed that I will not cast Your staff is broken cause it would proove to be to great advatage... Now that was some magic caasting Duel... But at the end both of them where so Draind that neither died by their opponent instead they either got slaughtered OR survived |

As a student of many historical ancient battles, I would consider that for me, the most important aspect of winning a battle is movement. The deployment or an army and how I subsequently manuvore it in formations or otherwise is how I generally win my games. However, I am of course complemented in this by the quirks of the system itself such as Magic and uber-heroes. For me, a game is most satisfyingly won when Magic and Heroes have had little impact on a game, and its been down to how you have manuvored your troops and made best use of the battlefield itself to bring you victory which is most satisfying. |

Probably my play style (Once I get them at least...) would be tactics, and ambushing. I mean, you don't you just love it when you spring a trap and your enemies face just turns from utter confidence as he's about to whip your butt again, to a look of terrified horror? |

My play style is getting lots of Gondorians with shields and spears to charge and keep Rangers and archers in the back. That's it. So I picked tactics. |

my favorite is totally magic. My favorite example was one time where i had the undying and one unnamed wraith. My opponent had a force based around Imrahil and his knights. The unnamed wraith transfixed imrahil. Suladan promptly rode up and maimed him. as for the other knights, I BD their horses and then harashin/suladan/transfixed the rest of them I won O I forgot about G-dalf. black dart put him on foot, one sap will, one transfix, one morannon orc |

I love all these things, and while I use solid tactics to gain victory and powerful sorcery to help me in the end there is nothing like watching my Uruk-hai, morranon orcs or trolls beat down the opposition through sheer brute force. In the end it is the brute force of my armies that makes my blood sing if you know what I mean |

I like to use a mixture of the above, though I'm not so hot on fiddly tactics like banners and heroic moves etc. I tend to forget them in the heat of the battle. A well-chosen army that has great strength or great flexibility is my starting point. Then I like to try my best to thwart all my opponent's tactics and employ my own. I think about what they might be planning and move and play so that their main battle plan is significantly weakened. |
