Post subject: | House Rule: Elrond, Lord/Master of Rivendell |
as GW have bought out rules for elrond (surprising well written) i thought i would update my rules for elrond, lord of rivendell, merging the 2 sets of rules together. here is my take, mixed with the new rules from the White Dwarf. Enjoy. C&C appreciated. Elrond, Lord of Rivendell F|S|D|A|W|C|M|W|.F|Points 6|4|4|3.|3.|7|3|6*|3|225 Wargear Elrond carries Hadhafang (Elven Blade) Special rules *The Lord of Rivendell: Elrond may expend one point of Will each turn, to employ or resist magical powers, without depleting his own Will store. Vilya: Thanks to the power of Vilya, one of the Three Elven Rings, Elrond may re-roll his dice when using fate points. Hadhafang: Made for Princess Idril of Gondolin, inscribed along the blade are the runes "Aen estar Hadhafang i chathol hen, thand arod dan i thang an i arwen." Which translates to "this blade is called Hadhafang, a noble defense against the enemy throng for a noble lady." When Elrond is outnumbered in a combat, he may use the shielding rule, but is allowed to strike a single blow to wound. †Master of Rivendell: Elrond has complete knowledge of all that goes on in his home. To represent this, he counts as having a line of sight to the whole battlefield. In addition to this he may also cast Wrath of Bruinen and Renew, on any point in the battlefield Foresight of the Eldar: During the Priority phase, after both players have made their priority rolls Elrond may alter the Good side’s priority roll by +1 or -1. To do this he must expend one Will point for every +1 or -1 he modifies the priority roll for. Elrond's Foresight Roll may not be used to reduce priority below one, or increase it beyond six. Lineage of the Firstborn Woodland Creature Magical Powers Wrath of Bruinen. Range † 6"/14cm radius. Dice score to use: 4+. In addition to the rules described in September’s White Dwarf, if Gandalf is also included in the same force, add +1 to all “to wound” dice rolled for the effects of this magical power. Renew. Range †. Dice score to use: 3+ Aura of Command. Range 6"/14cm. Dice score to use: 2+ |

it are his house rules so yes he is. 2 questions: shouldn't he have a fight value of 7? and can he cast Wrath of Bruinen only within 6"/14cm or on the whole field? further he's perfect. |

Quote: shouldn't he have a fight value of 7? no, elrond has always had a fight value of 6 Quote: can he cast Wrath of Bruinen only within 6"/14cm or on the whole field?
anywhere on the battlefield, but it affects all within a 6" radius of the point on the battlefield that elrond cast the spell at. |
