I have decided to create a new much needed troop type for high elves.
As you can guess by the title - They are called the Rangers of Finrod.

I am just finishing the first set of rules for these stealthy soldiers.

They will be out soon - I Promise

Very nice. Medium points too for a good model. Are they heros? You should put in normal infantry too.

They are sort of rangers of the north based.

I might create a captain for the finrod rangers...

:?: Would you prefer a named or unnamed character :?:

the rangers of finrod carry standard elf bows - Eresdil's bow of finrod is unique

Fight of 7 appears high, considering that's what Glorfindel is at. Your rangers should be F5 and the hero F6. I'm assuming they all have the woodland creature special rule?

You are right, i shall reduce the fight value to your suggested amount.

Yes, I will add the woodland creature rule to their profile.

Sorry 'bout this, but could you maybe lower both Fight points (hero's and warrior's)? They're like really good heros, like Aragorn, or Boromir.

sorry but i cannot lower the fight value any more as they already have the F value of an elf soldier and captain.

If I lower it any more, then the fight value of the rangers will be lower than a standard elf soldier - I can't do that!!!!

change the 'bow' in the profile for 'elf bow', it might cause misunderstandings.

i like the profiles! Mabye it's nice to make them unique to elven forces. Put them in there own list and let them only ally to elves or something.

What would it cost to give them Expert Shot? Maybe that's overkill.

Anyway, between this and WD's Elf Mage, I really like the ideas lately. Elves are soooo in need of expansion.
