I was looking through the sourcebooks to make this combination last night and my first thought was to take a Moria drum (The plus 1 courage and 18" Banner range being invaluable at such low fight). I was looking and am I correct in thinking that a standard Moria drum will not affect the Goblin warriors of Goblin town, however a Gundabad Blackshield Drummer will? |

I agree, the Moria Drum specifically mentions Moria Goblins while the Blackshield Drum mentions Goblins, so the Blackshield Drum would affect Goblin Town Goblins, while the Moria Drum wouldn't. |

My gut tells me that's a typo. |

As written, I would say yes, but the "spirit" of the rule is probably no to goblin town gobbos. When the black shields came out, the only goblins were moria goblins so they didnt have to specify by culture. That being said, good catch! |

It will be interesting to see if it changes in the future in any updates there may be. Given that shamans affect all warriors of a race I think updated drums would affect all Goblins. |
