It is said that the Knight of the White Tower deals 2 wounds instead of one when he uses the White Sword. That means he cannot do it otherwise (i.d. fighting with one-handed weapon)

Now, I think at Thyrdan's Mighty Blow. If I recall correctly the rule, it doesn't say that it works only when he uses the 2-handed axe. Does that means, as I suppose, that Thyrdan deals 2 wounds even when I choose to fight with a one-handed weapon?

I don't know the rules but if they are like you explained, I would say that Thyrdan always causes two wounds and the knight of the white tower only when using his two-handed sword.

That is the correct interpretation Dikey.

Even if Thrydan has to punch people because a Blackshiled Shaman broke all of his weapons, he still causes 2 wounds.

Trydan is really manly, though I never got why he didn't get burly, of all people

I really hope the next round of FAQs includes giving him and Grimbold Burly, and Glorfindel, Amdur and the Knight of the White Tower Weapon Master. I know those special rules didn't come out until well after their rules were written, but they really need them.

Amdur expecially, with only 2A and regular penalties ain't much of the "Lord of Blades" he's supposed to be. But, honestly, I think we will never see any update of any sort for our Beloved LOTR models.
