Elven cloaks and Cav

I have looked through the threads and cannot find any similar queries so just wanted to ask about elven cloaks

I know that models with elven cloaks cannot be seen from over 6" away but if I wish to charge with Cav with move 10", can I move say 5", then 'notice' the enemy now in range, then charge with the remaining 5"?
Or must I begin my move from within 6" to charge at all?

Very good question. To charge, you need a line of sight to the enemy at the start of your move I believe, which means you can't charge the elf that turn.

Also one of the few occasion where a Fell Warg's Fell Sight comes in handy.
