So, I was looking through some forums on TLA a week or so ago (I'm not a member there, just browsing), when I saw someone ask what the point of giving Azog a lance was, as he has a 2handed weapon and Burly. I thought that was a dumb question, because you can't use a 2handed weapon with cavalry. I forgot about this question until I was looking through the new rules last night, and realized that there isn't a sentence anywhere that says that cavalry can't use 2handed weapons. So, my question is, am I correct in saying that Azog has absolutely no need for a lance, ever, or do you think a FAQ will correct this mistake? Or maybe he gets both bonuses, meaning he wounds heros on a 1+? (lol, just kidding about the last part) |

Not sure why you's want to give him a lance anyway. If you did, he would lose it as soon as you seperated Azog and the White Warg so one could lead infantry Orcs and the other loose Wargs. |

Yes, but I had figured at first that you would want him to take care of any big bad enemy heros before doing that, 8 strikes at 2+ will kill any hero. However, now that he already has +1 to wound regardless, the lance becomes pointless. |

Lol, I didn't even mean that as a pun, but no, lances don't have special strikes. |

Don't forget the -1 to win the fight with a two-handed axe, s a Lance is definately useful. |
