Post subject:  Nature's wrath question

For nature's wrath, specifically Thranduril's...
1. can it knock over monsters? If so how does that make sense?
2. why can it not be resisted? If there is a hero within the range of the blast why isn't he able to use will to resist it on behalf of everyone because it seems pretty cheap otherwise.
3. Is there any specific way to counter Thranduril's since he doesn't need will to cast it or is it just best to keep you army spread out near him?

Thanks in advance

1. Yes. anything can be knocked over. Dont think the mumak can be knocked over though.

2. It can be resisted on a 6. See the FAQ here

3. Charge him, he cant cast spells if he is in combat. Failing that, keep a hero with plenty of will points in range of him to resist it when he casts it. He can only do it once per game.

Any Hero :boromir in the area may resist if they have will to spend. Most normal units do not have will so a Hero must be there to spend the will to get a resist roll. Otherwise there is no roll. (unless you have non hero units that are resistant to magic, then they would get a roll to resist.) :frodo:
