I think the council of wizards its the strongest formation in the game what do you think?

and saying strongest is quite vague, cause i could get a dragon (25pts cheaper) that will demolish them in combat, but lost in magic.... so it depend on the circumstances

but ya, they are pretty dam good, but have a really high price tag

Probably best to state why you think they are the strongest formation, otherwise it makes your thread seem a bit like a post count bump. Just a friendly tip ^^

To be honest, I couldn't comment either way, but I feel that there are probably better things to get with 500 points and that some of the stuff is better value for its points. Something to note is that, playing a 2,000 point Dwarf army (for example), would mean that you couldn't have any other allies, thusly the army is still very slow, even if it now has magic.
