Most helpful clarification is the Counsellor ability. But now that's going to spark new arguments on whether you can use it to call a Heroic Duel with a monster...

Before anyone gets their hopes up, no they haven't addressed counsellors.

He is referring to the recent clarification of Overlord, which confirmed the RAW.

My bad. Yes, I meant the Overlord rule. What's RAW?

RAW = Read As Written. Yet it was written "Instead of its own" Might, so it hasn't confirmed it, but nobody cares now anyway, so let's not talk about that, 'thems' the rules now ;)
And of course Monsters can now duel based on the exactly same principle that monsters can call any other heroic moves, so well done GW :)

ya, the stone giant is now really imba.... although thats not the first time that GW has screwed up (the mumak can auto kill and khamul is ridiculously overpowered). then there is all the mistakes they do in their battle reports

I'm trying to start some house rules amongst the ppl i play against, but their not so much into it (they do limit the total mastery lvl of magic so you cant go overboard on nazgul, as well as limiting EH2K models to stop multi mumaks). i do like the versatility of being able to use heroic actions with monsters, but duels are too much (you can call a duel on a capt, but an ES hero in the same F cant duel you...)

as blackmist pointed out- its "instead of its own might" so their going against their own rules.

The warriors of the dead are becoming even worse :( Spirit grasp strikes at the highest courage value so if you have an hero in a formation they strike at the hero's courage :(

General Elessar - it is 'Rules as Written', the FAQ has tended (with ES, Overlord, this Sprit Grasp thing) to confirm what the rules actually say. People tend to read too much into little sentence components and not read in a 'plain english' manner, the GW rules writers are definitely not logicians and just do not write that formally.

well warriors of the dead need support, eg: the angmar ones need stuff like the tainted cause it reduces courage (and spells like sunder spirit). if you do get good support stuff like that then they do pretty well
