So has anyone found out what the "Official" ruling is on his banner and outriders?

For those not aware, you take gaming give him his banner which can give 1 points of might to any rohan hero if there within 3 inches of him. (cannot stack) But take 15 rohan out riders who are rohan heroes and they can take 1 point of might (The rule even says a hero with no might can take 1)

So short of giving your army 15 points of might what has anyone heard about the "official" ruling?

Dont really care for opinions on this one. We all know its really cheesy.

Official UKGT rulling is: Banner doesn't work on Outriders
Official non-GT rulling is: Banner does work on Outriders

Unofficial consent of general public is: If you play non-GT and use that, you won't find an opponent again, unless you're in a very highly competitive place.

Sadly, I think the official US GT rule was that it's valid. I hope someone can correct me on that. I have a copy of the latest (still pretty old) SBG FAQ around somewhere and will try to dig it up in the next day or two. With luck my memory is faulty and it applies only to Heroes that had at least 1 Might to begin with.

It does work on outriders, although this was not intended by GW, they say so themselves in the Two Towers FAQ on their site.

If they say so in an FAQ, then the FAQ overrules the ruling and so it doesn't affect them any more. It's that simple ;) If it weren't for the FAQ, then Outriders would be affected.

If the official FAQ says it, then that's how it works. Errata is just giving you something to cut out and glue on top of the original wording. Errata is to replace the wording and FAQs are to clarify the intentions.

Reading carefully produces the same result :D
