Spear support changes?

Last I checked a goblin with spear could support the Balrog.....

I havent read up on the rules since the beginning of September but I thought that was right. Does base size matter in spear support?

not any more. While the old rules were clear with the "same or bigger" rule it seems like this part has been overlooked in the hobbit rules (because it clearly makes no sense).
However, it seems that many players and clubs stay true to the old rule. Wasn't the old rule enforced at the Nova Open?

LOBR, When I was at Adepticon this year I got schooled on this too.
I went up against Clint, and did successfully argue that it was not allowed.
My next opponent, guy from MN, pointed out that that language was gone.

and...if I do come by on the 19th, I will be sporting the Dragon and Gobos!!!

Idk between my Hobbits/wood Elves and my opponents bringing together a total of 1 sleigh and 1 troll(between all 5 of them) I didn't run into it.

That, is Badass. Can't wait to see my former dragon do work hahaha.

And yeah I knee from the debates on here a goblin 'could support a balrog' but I was questioned on it again so I decided to make it official.

I'll leave it in our group for now but maybe in a month or two I'll see if anyone brings it up.
